How to Use your Blog/Website URL to Comment as OpenID

OpenID is very good way to communicate with other bloggers. You can insert your Website or Blog URL to comment as OpenID. But when we try to comment with OpenID, it shows an error message 'Your OpenID credentials could not be verified'. Now this problem solved, know solution here.



Most of us use OpenID to get backlinks for their blog. OpenID comment does not mark as spam as other mark as spam because of Hyperlinks. We can solve OpenID problem by adding a code in your Blogger Blog Template.


Comment as OpenID:
It is very easy to add this code in blogger blog template. If you are using WordPress or any website, add this code below <head>. This code verify your blog or site for OpenID.
  • Open Blogger and select your blog.
  • Go to Template > Edit HTML option.
  • Now find <head> in your template and add this code below it.
<link href='http://www.blogger.com/openid-server.g' rel='openid.server'/><link href='http://PcGats.blogspot.com/' rel='openid.delegate'/>
Note: Change http://PcGats.blogspot.com/ with your blog URL.
  • Now save your template. You have done all the process.

Use OpenID in Comments:
Now it's turn to show your website or blog's URL in comments as OpenID. It is very easy process.
  • Open any blog in which you want to comment as OpenID.
  • Select OpenID option from comment box and fill your blog URL without http://www.
  • Now type your comment and click on Publish button.
  • Now Blogger will ask you to verify your site.
  • Click on Yes, Always for stop showing this dialog box again. After this your comment will published.
